Our Packaging - Recycle & Reuse

In our never-ending quest to provide the best customer experience, we endeavor to use packaging materials that can either be used again or recycled into something better. To that end, we try to keep our packages logo-free and to use packaging that does not require a lot of tape or other adhesives. While we don't always hit the mark, we are always thinking about ways to get better. Here are a few different ways you can re-use our packaging. Let us know if you have any thoughts in the comments!

Re-use the box and wrapping to send items to other people. This is probably the most straightforward way to re-use or recycle our packaging. Make sure to leave a note to your friend to let them know that they can also re-use or recycle the packaging.

Use the box to store winter clothes or other clothes.
Use the box as paper or file storage.
Use the box as a "field-expedient" ruler . When we were in the Marines and were out in the "field", we often had to make do with what we had on hand. When you are on an island off the coast of Kuwait or on a ship in the middle of the Pacific, you couldn't head down to the local Wal-Mart to pick up something you forgot. As a result, we would take what we had lying around and use that to overcome whatever obstacle we were facing. In this case, you can use our packaging as a ruler in a pinch. Our size Large + suits come in boxes that are typically 17.25 in x 11.25 in x 4 in and everything else typically comes in a box that is 12 in x 9 in x 4 in.
Tape the box with duct tape for additional waterproofing and use to store materials in your car or shed. Duct tape is a great way to make your box last for a long long time. You can duct tape just the outside or you can duct tape the outside and the inside as well.

Use the box to make a card board eclipse viewer. https://www.instructables.com/Cardboard-Box-Eclipse-Viewer/ My daughter and I did this when there was an eclipse in Los Angeles in 2017. It was so so cool.
Use the box as a canvas for your next great painting.
If you can't figure out a way to reuse the box - put it in the recycle bin so that it can live another day.
Keep the box to store your Velomino! You don't really own your Velomino - you are just taking care of it for the next generation. But you already knew that. Let's Do This.
